General Information

Dochamps (Manhay) is a small and very quiet Ardennes village with about 80 houses and its own tavern.

Dochamps is located 10 km away from the tourist village of La Roche in the heart of the Ardennes. At La Roch,  the river Ourthe flows through the Ardennes and you can go swimming, fishing, rafting, mountain biking, quad biking, kayaking and many more activities.

Dochamps is located in a very hilly, wooded area with beautiful views in which you can also make beautiful walks.

The holiday home “La Villa” is located on the outskirts of Dochamps. A small village where you can get fresh bread in the morning, or enjoy a local beer or hot meal in the local tavern. The house has a beautiful garden and is located quietly right at the edge of the forest.

It was built in the seventies and converted into a beautiful holiday home.

At home in “La Villa” you have everything to prepare a good meal after a long day enjoying yourself in all the Ardennes has to offer.

On the terrace, you’ll find garden furniture, a Smokey Joe and a gas barbecue.

The garden allows you to enjoy the sun all day.

There is a table football game.

In the wellness annexe, you have a terrace with views over the meadows with hot tub, sauna, outdoor kitchen and barbecue.

Traffic hardly comes along.

Layout of the home

Through the entrance and the hall, you enter the large, cosy and bright living/dining room with sun all day long.

Through the many windows and the doors to the terrace, you have a beautiful view over meadows and forest.

In the living room with fireplace, there are couches with lots of space and with the possibility to add more chairs if needed.

There is a large flat screen with cable connection.

In the dining/cooking area, there are enough tables and chairs for 15 people.

The kitchen is modernly equipped with large professional cooling, eight gas burners, an oven, dishwasher, large professional coffee maker etc.

On the ground floor are three bedrooms:

• one with a double bed and private bathroom with toilet, sink and shower with thermostat tap and shower door like all other bathrooms.
• one with two single beds.

Both bedrooms have a beautiful view.

• The third bedroom downstairs has a double bed and two single beds (loft beds)

There are two more bathrooms downstairs, one with shower and sink and the other with bath and sink.

Finally, there is a toilet and a baby bath downstairs.

At the first floor you’ll find a toilet and two bedrooms:

• one bedroom with a double bed and four single beds;
• a bedroom with three single beds and private bathroom with shower and sink.

There is also an emergency exit with a fire escape.

As you can see, it is a great holiday home, well suited for at least 15 people.

You must provide your own linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels etc).

Since the house has nearby neighbours, it is not suitable for groups that will be making a lot of noise after 22:00 in the evening.

The wellness dependance:

• Kitchen with boiling water tap, induction cooker, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven with rotisserie.
• Sitting area with a front facing fireplace.
• Finnish sauna with shower, toilet and sink.
• Outside the hot tub and an original Joe’s barbecue smoker. The barbecue of champions!

Well, there is not much more to say, the wellness dependance is not very big.
Just cosy for 2 people.
